Since we’ve had a lot of reviews already on action or strategy games, we thought it would be great to include a game where users get to interact with other people in a friendly manner. Not sure where the game publishers came up with the name, but I’m assuming that everyone on this game live on a street and are incredibly happy (Why can’t we live there in real life…). As soon as you download this app, you will get what you expect. No not happiness, but a game filled with lively colors and a set of cute characters.
If this game isn’t action or strategy then what exactly is it? Well, Happy Street allows the users to build their own characters as well as interacting with the many other real players that are connected through Game Center or Facebook. In Happy Street, you get to customize not only your characters but the village that you live as well. Since the game, allows you build shops, hotels, and various other structures in the game there is always something to do in your village. Building structures isn’t the only thing that you can do in this app. You can always go sculpt, cook, explore other places in the game.
Is it suitable for kids? This app is definitely a kid friendly game where violence isn’t the main focus. In this game rather than destroying villages, you are building them up and interacting with other friends. The game itself could be a little challenging for children who are too young to understand what a building is, but for kids who are a bit older and already are in school, this game is perfect for them.
Is it educational? It’s really difficult to determine the educational value of a game because kids can learn many different things in games that could be useful later on in life. However, since this game is structured in a way to help users build their own village, we think it would be a helpful game in allowing kids understand their own towns that they live in!
Happy Street is a nice refreshing change from the puzzle and war games we have seen lately. It’s nice to be able to visit your neighbor without having to conquer their land. All in all, this game is definitely a fun game for kids and adults to play. We would definitely recommend you to give it a try!
